چکیده
The accurate calculation of the sound field is one most concerning issues in hydroacoustics. one-dimensional spectral method has been used to correctly solve simplified underwater acoustic propagation models, but it difficult actual ocean fields using this model due its application conditions and approximation error. Therefore, necessary develop a direct solution for two-dimensional Helmholtz equation without models. Here, two commonly methods, Chebyshev–Galerkin Chebyshev–collocation, are equation. Since Chebyshev–collocation does not require harsh boundary equation, then propagation. numerical results compared with analytical solutions verify correctness method. Compared mature Kraken program, exhibits higher accuracy. can be directly representative Because there no constraints, wide range applications provides high accuracy, which great significance realistic fields.

A New Method for Calculating Propagation Modes of a One Dimensional Photonic Crystal (RESEARCH NOTE)
Photonic band-gap (PBG) crystals offer new dimensions of freedom in controlling propagation of electromagnetic waves. The existence of stop-bands in the transmission characteristic of these crystals makes them a suitable element for the realization of many useful microwave and optical subsystems. In this paper, we calculate the propagation constant of a one-dimensional (1-D) photonic crystal by...
متن کاملOcean Acoustic Propagation and Coherence Studies
The long-term objective is to develop knowledge of factors controlling the mean and the variability of acoustic fields in the shallow ocean environment, in the frequency band 50 Hz to 3000 Hz. Propagation variability is an inescapable complicating factor for both active and passive sonar systems, and for underwater acoustic communications. Reliable predictions of temporal and spatial variabilit...
متن کاملA Two-dimensional Theory for Surface Acoustic Wave Propagation in Finite Piezoelectric Solids
Surface acoustic waves (Rayleigh waves) are analyzed for semi-infinite anisotropic solids only for essential propagation characteristics like the velocity and decaying parameters, which are important in engineering applications. The limitations of these results are obvious because devices are usually built on a finite piezoelectric substrate with propagation properties different from the analyt...
متن کاملA High Order Approximation of the Two Dimensional Acoustic Wave Equation with Discontinuous Coefficients
This paper concerns with the modeling and construction of a fifth order method for two dimensional acoustic wave equation in heterogenous media. The method is based on a standard discretization of the problem on smooth regions and a nonstandard method for nonsmooth regions. The construction of the nonstandard method is based on the special treatment of the interface using suitable jump conditio...
متن کاملSolution of propagation of acoustic-gravity waves in the atmosphere using finite difference method of order two
Investigating waves propagation’s equation in the atmosphere is one of the important and widely used issues in various sciences, which has attracted many researchers. A type of propagating waves is an acoustic-gravity wave. These type of waves have a lot of stationarity properties and can be propagate to a high altitude in the atmosphere. The equation of acoustic-gravity wave propagation is a h...
